I’ve started a small force of Word Bearers to act as the main baddies for my Black Templars. I like the idea of Word Bearers pitted against Black Templars because they’re both the most fervently religious groups in their respective factions. It’s fun to play their extreme faiths off of each other. If you’ve been reading my Crusade Lore posts, you’ll have a good idea about their background. But I plan to write some lore from the perspective of my Word Bearers to reveal what they’re up to in the Calixis Sector.
So far I mostly just have HQ units. Here’s my Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor who is the Coryphaus of my warhost. I don’t have names for the characters or their warhost yet.

His body is 90% made from the Perturabo model. But his right arm comes from Angron, and the sword blade comes from an arm from the Hellstriders of Slaanesh kit. I used this same combo more recently on my Chaos Lord of Nurgle model for my Slaves to Darkness. Speaking of slaves to darkness, his head is from the Chaos Lord on foot model.
I also have a sorcerer, and another sorcerer in terminator armor. In my mind, these are the same character but at different times in his life. Obviously he gets some better wargear and some mutations as gifts from the gods at some point.

Next I’ve got a dark apostle. You can’t have a Word Bearers warhost without a dark apostle to preach at you and make sure you’re tithing to the church. I like him a lot. He’s inspired by the incredible work of pnisgeekery on instagram. But he’s not big and grand enough to be the leader of my warhost. So I’m going to make another dark apostle in terminator armor. I know there are no rules for a dark apostle in terminator armor, but I need him to look more intimidating.

And lastly, I do have a single squad of chaos space marines. Or legionnaires as they’re called now, I think. I’ll post about them later. But here’s their squad leader.
