Today’s kitbash is my Daemon Prince with the mark of Slaanesh. He’s mostly finished. I just need to figure out what weapons to give him. The rules say he either gets a sword, an axe, or two claws. I’ve already given up on making him WYSIWYG. I’ll just go with what looks cool. But I think I’ll run him with dual claws when I play a game. That is, IF I play a game. I still have yet to do that. I’m in it purely for the kitbashing babyyyyyyyy.
It was a fairly simple conversion on paper. Just the legs of the official Daemon Prince with the upper body of the Centaurian Marshal. But let me tell you, it was not a simple process. Shaving down the connection point until it fit perfectly, without removing too much material was tense. I was white knuckling it the whole time. But the result is beautiful I think. He’s graceful, and powerful, and sexy. Which is perfect for Slaanesh. I toyed with the idea of making him more androgenous but that felt like too much work with all the accessories on his body I’d have to shave off. It would have ruined him, I think. Besides, we already have enough Slaanesh units with sexy women’s bodies. Slaanesh needs more sexy masculine bodies.
