Death Guard Killteam

This is my Death Guard kill team. I made it for Kill Team 1.0 so I have no clue whether it’s still legal. In terms of lore, these are actually not Death Guard but Word Bearers with the mark of Nurgle. The wider Word Bearers legion looks down on those who dedicate themselves to a single deity. But those who have been blessed and chosen by Grandfather Nurgle know better. They care little about the concerns of their misguided brethren. They view their shunning from the legion as freedom to further the goals of The Plaguefather.

I used various Death Guard terminator bodies to increase their height and bulk, but rest assured, these are plague marines, not terminators. My color scheme was simple. An equal blend of black, bronze, and steel for the main color. Heavy washes. Highlight with that blackened bronze mix. Off-white with a purple wash for the skin. And every model has a radioactive neon green accent somewhere on it’s body. The base is a superglue/elmer’s glue mix to create a stringy mess, and then I slathered it with Blood For The Blood God.
